Long
Division Director
Re: Permit No M-94-005, Colona Pit Amendment AM-001, Revised
Financial Warranty Figures.
Dear Mr McGehee,
Enclosed are the revised figures for the above-named operation, in
the amounts we had discussed on the phone. The amounts were
recalculated and totalled for the Phase i-III bond amount only, and
not also for the grand total, as had been done originally.
On the individual task sheets, revised estimates are denoted by
task numbers ending in "pr" (for "phased .revised") and permit
action titles ending in "rev" (for "revised"). Tasks not
specifically revised at this time have not been renumbered, though
they have been included in the full packet you have before you.
The total bond needed for these first three phases is $148,894.00.
As you mentioned, United Companies could submit a bond in a round
figure of $150,000.00.
If you have questions about amending the amount of the existing
bond or replacing it entirely, you may contact Ms Lavern Lemay, on
our staff. Thanks for your help and patience!
Sincerely,
~d ~ 2
Bob Oswald
Environmental Protection Specialist
enclosure: bond calculations
b:\dmgcor02.9~/8
s
