Box 783 <br />Carbondale, CO 81623 <br />Re: Receipt of 110(2) Hard Rock/Metal Mining Reclamation Permit Application, White Banks Mine, <br />File No. M-99-042 <br />Dear Mr. Congdon: <br />On June 22, 1999, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your 11U(2) Hard Rock/Metal Mining <br />Acclamation Permit application for the White Banks Mine, which is located in Pitkin County. All comment and <br />review periods began on June 22, 1999. The decision date for your application is scheduled for July 22, 1999. <br />Newspaper publication of a notice regarding the filing of your application and transmittal of a copy of the notice <br />to all owners of record of surface rights and all owners of record of lands that are within 200 feet of the boundan• <br />of the affected land is required within l0 days after submittal. You must submit proof of the notice and mailings, <br />such as Certified Mail - Retum Receipt Requested, to the Division of Minerals and Geology' prior to the decision <br />date. Additionally, any changes or additions to the application on file in our office must also be reflected in the <br />public review copy which has been placed with the Pitkin County Clerk and Recorder. <br />The Division is reviewing your application to determine whether it is adequate to meet the requirements of [he <br />Act.
