Box 67 <br />Hugo, CO 80821 <br />Re: Rockbilt Pit ~~1 and Ravenkamp Pit <br />M-4i-os5 M-q~-o6G <br />Dear Ms. Clagett: <br />~- <br />~-__ <br />pas->`" ;d~r~~ <br />This office has reviewed your May 8, 1991 and May 14, 1991 correspondence <br />concerning the above proposed projects. <br />A search of the Colorado Inventory of Cultural Resources has indicated that <br />there are no known sites located within the boundaries of this project. <br />However, the location of this mining operation is near a water source which <br />makes it highly probable that prehistoric and historic sites could be <br />found in the area. If there have been no previous land altering activities <br />on the parcel, we recommend that a cultural resource survey be undertaken <br />to determine if eligible cultural resources will be impacted by mining <br />activities.
