RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 9, 1974, in the
chambers of the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado,
for the purpose of hearing the petition of Flatiron Paving, c/o Ted McMurren,
P. O. Box 1137, Greeley, Colorado, requesting permission to locate a
gravel pit operation on the following described property:
STAGE I: Those parts of the following described parcels
lying West of the centerline of Boulder Creek
and East of the Godding, Dailey and Plumb
Ditch;
1) The SW4'- of the NE-.! of Section 20 T2N, R68W
of the 6th P. M.
2) The NW4'' of the SE-4' of Section 20 T2N, R68W
of the 6th P. M.
3) The NE-4 of the SW-41 of Section 20 T2N, R68W
of the 6th P. M.
4) The NZ of the SW4' of the SE41 of Section 20,
T2N, R68W, of the 6th P.M.
5) The Nz of the SE4'' of the SWq of Section 20,
T2N, R68W of the 6th P. M.
STAGE II: Those parts of the following described parcels lying
West of the centerline of Boulder Creek and East of
the Godding, Dailey and Plumb Ditch:
The S of the SZ of the SW'-, of Section 20, T2N, Ro"8W
of the 6th P.M. , AND
The Nz of the NW; of Section 29, T2N, R68W of the
6th P. M.
STAGE III: The SEq of the NE4' of Section 30, T2N, R68W of
the 6th P. M.
All in Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the petitioner was present, being represented by Mr. Bruce
Hanna, and additionally represented by Mr. Charles A. Karowsky, Attorney
for petitioner, and
WHEREAS, there was no opposition to the request of petitioner for the
location of said gravel pit operation, and
WHEREAS, the said requested gravel pit operation is located in an
agricultural zone as set forth by the Weld County Zoning Resolution, and
WHEREAS, according to Section 3. 3(8) and Section 6. 1(3) of the Zoning
Resolution of Weld County, said gravel pit operation may be ,authorized upon
the approval of the Weld County Planning Commission and the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all the testimony
