999
Doc Date:12/11/2001
• ~/~ /fib Ib ADDENDUM 10-2
BASELINE VEGETATION STUDIES - EAST WADGE EXTENSION AREA
•

The following baseline vegetation report conducted by ESCO Associates,
Inc. covers lands previously referred to as the Seneca II Mine Permit
Extension Area and the Cypress Study Area. All references to the
Cypress Study Area are the same as the East Wadge Extension Area. The
sampling program for this study basically followed the guidelines
established by the CMLRD. Final details of the sampling program were
negotiated in a series of letters between Peabody Coal Company (PCC) and
the CMLRD as follows:
May 5, 1987 PCC (Vern Pfannenstiel) to CMLRD (Peter O'Connor)
proposing baseline study plan.
May 22, 1987 CMLRD (Steve Renner) to PCC (Jim Lunan) concurring
with the general sampling plan, but requesting
resolution of two concerns.
June 11, 1987 PCC (Vern Pfannenstiel) to CMLRD (Steve Renner)
resolving CMLRD concerns over the sampling plan.
June 23, 1987 CMLRD (Steve Renner) to PCC (Jim Lunan) approving
the above baseline sampling program.
10-2-1 Revised 06/29/88
