~liiiiil~rii««iii <br />Bob Condon <br />Western Equipment & Truck Inc. <br />2055 1" Ave <br />Greeley, Co 80631 <br />July 22, 2002 <br />Kate Pickford <br />CDMG <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Re: Second Adequacy review CDMG application #M-2002-052 <br />Dear Ms. Pickford: <br />Following aze responses to items referenced in your letter of July 11, 2002 <br />Item 1 New maps will be ready on 7-26 Reclamation plan amended to include the <br />remaining portion of the haul road to be incorporated into the maintenance road allowing <br />vehicle access along the lake bank for maintenance and safety purposes. A trail corridor <br />will also be developed along south shore of lake in cooperation with the Town of <br />Milkmen. <br />Item 2- weed control- see response in my letter of 7-11 <br />Item 3- wildlife- A nationwide permit will be applied for with the US Army Corps of <br />Engineers. As part ofthe approval process the Corps requires confirmation from the US <br />Fish & Wildlife Service as well as the Colorado dept of Wildlife. We aze currently <br />preparing a Prebles Meadow Jumping Mouse mitigation plan for this application. The <br />orchid survey will be done this week as we aze now within the survey window. I did <br />verify this procedure with Peter Plage of the US fish & Wildlife Service.
