Re: Haulroad Slopes 6 Sedimentation Pond

On October 4, we measured the existing slopes, both cut and fill,
of the haulroads in the Grassy Creek Mine. At no place were the
fill slopes steeper than 1-1(2:1. In fact the majority were at 2:1
or flatter. The cut slopes were separated into two Categories:
consolidated and unconsolidated material.
Starting at County Road 33, measurements were taken on both sides
of the haulroad with the distance from the county road recorded.
The following tables show the mileage from the beginning, the type
of cut slope material and the mileage at each measured slope.
Table 1 shows the main haulroad to Pit 4. Table 2 shows the access
road from the main haulroad to Pits 1 b 6. Table 3 shows the road
to Pits 2 s 3 from the Pit 1 access load.
Also enclosed are the x-sections of the sedimentation ponds in Pits
2 b 3. Should you need any further information on these or the
haulroad slopes, please let me know.
