Davis: <br />We have received your application fora permit to conduct coal mining in <br />Colorado. Our initial review indicates that all preliminary items required by <br />the Colorado Surface Coal Plininq Reclamation Act, C.R.S. 34-33-101 et seq. <br />have been submitted. Thus, your application has been deemed complete ~r the <br />purposes of filing on this date. A11 review and comment periods as provideA <br />in the Act and the Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date <br />of filing. <br />Enclosed is a proposed public notice of the application for mining permit for <br />your use. You should commence publication of this advertisement as specified <br />in Rule 2.07,3(2) of the Regulations. Proof of the publication of the <br />advertisement must be filed with the Division not later than four weeks after <br />the last publication date, <br />A copy of the application, less confidential items, must be filed for public <br />inspection with the appropriate public office as specified by you on the <br />application form. Any subsequent changes or additions to the application must <br />also be made in this local government cop-y. <br />The staff is currently reviewing your application to determine whether the <br />items you have submitted are adequate in terms of meeting the requirements of <br />the Act and Regulations. Additional information ma.y be required for purposes <br />of adequacy.
