Lamm
Govamor
T0: Jim Herron
FROM: Jim Pendleton
RE: Storm King Min In Supplemental Submittal - Subsidence Monitoring -
oal ge No. 1 Coal Mine Application
Subsequent to our October 10, 1984 meeting with Mr. E. Peter Matthias,
President of Storm King Mines, I received the attached letter from Mr.
Matthias. The letter commits to the submission of an amended subsidence
monitoring program within 6 months. As such, this is a response to point (3)
under the section of my adequacy review entitled "Rule 2.05.6(6) Subsidence".
In drafting our eventual findings for Subsidence, we should include a
statement noting Storm King Mine's commitment to the provision of an amended
subsidence monitoring program no later than April 10, 1985 or prior to the
completion of the rock tunnels, whichever occurs first.
MEMORANDUM
17 October 1984
~•
423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
