coal mining in Colorado. Uur initial review indicates that all preliminary
items required oy the Colorado Surface Coal ~~lining Reclamation Act, C.R.S.
1973, 34-33-1U1 et s~e~. have oxen suoimitted. Thus, your application has been
deemed complete or the purposes of filing on this date. ;',11 review and
commeni periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations promulgated
thereunder initiate rr"rain this Date of filing.
Unless notification to the contrary accompanies this latter,, the oroposed
ne~.vspaper advertisement submitted with the application has been found to be
satisfactory. You should commence publication of this advertisement as
specified in Rule 2.U 7.3(2) of the Regulations. Proof of the publication of
the advertisementlnust be filed with the Division nut later than four weeks
after the last publication date.
A copy of the application, less confidential items, must be filed for puolic
inspection with the appropriate public office as specified by you on the
application form. Any subsequent changes or additions to the application must
also be made in this local government copy.
The staff is currently reviesving your application to determine whether the
items you have submitted are adequate in terns of meeting the requirements of
the Act and Regulations. Additional information may be required for purposes
of adequacy. According to the provisions of Section 34-33-118(5) of the Act,
you will oe notified no later than 14arch 23 1984 of this
Division's preliminary findings as to the suostantive adequacy or inadequacy
of your application.
