The list of species for the assessment included the <br />following: <br />bald eagle <br />peregrine falcon <br />Colorado squawfish <br />razorback sucker <br />bonytail <br />humpback chub <br />southwestern willow flycatcher <br />(HalHal ia~attia 1 n or ~ha~y) <br />(Falco t~~g>rnr's> <br />(pr,~v.hnc~ c+hPil~rc luciL_c) <br />(gyrauchen tetanus) <br />((;ila P~Qganc) <br />(FSnniTdc~nax trai 11 i i Fartimu~) <br />OSM subsequently received the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's <br />biological opinion (GJ-6-CO-96-F-11) on 9-3-96. The USFWS <br />concurred with OSM's "no effect" finding for the bald eagle, <br />peregrine falcon, and the southwestern willow flycatcher. The <br />USFWS also determined that the project water depletion impacts <br />(121.8 acre feet/year) could be offset by Bowie Resources Limited <br />(BRL) contributing a one time depletion charge of $1,588.27 <br />($13.04 per acre-foot) to the National Fish and Wildlife <br />Foundation. <br />On 11-13-96, the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology <br />requested that OSM reinitiate Section 7 consultation because BRL <br />had submitted additional calculations to include evaporative loss <br />from the proposed sediment ponds. Evaporative loss was estimated <br />at 34-inches per year and is quantified as follows: <br />
