Physical parameters of the refuse were tested
by F.M. Fox & Associates and the chemical parameters were analyzed by CT&E.
After your review of the chemical analysis, I would like to meet with you
to discuss the requirements for covering the refuse for reclamation and the
possible use of test plots. It is our desire to determine the minimum thickness
required for reasons of economics, yet permit proper revegetation, erosion control,
etc.
The results of the physical analysis have shown that the initial estimates of
stability parameters were conservative, and that the refuse facility can be re-
designed with steeper slopes to provide more storage. A request for revision to
the refuse facility will be submitted at a later date.
Sincerely,
GC/s
Enclosure
cc: Mr. Charles Silenq_o
Mr. Earl Madden
Mr. James Grant
D.
