The applicant's response to this concern is inadequate. The response did not provide the <br />statement requested by the Division in its May 27, 1997 letter, pertaining to whether Bruce <br />Addington owns or controls, or within the period from 12/31/91 - 12/31/96 owned or <br />controlled, any surface coal reining operation other than those listed as adequacy items 19.a. <br />through 19.ii. <br />21.
