Box 209
[Joodville, Texas 75979
Re: Trinidad Basin Mining, Inc. proposed permit area and mining operation.
Dear Mr. Graham:
I have received your comments regarding your tract of land and homestead.
I have reviewed the proposed permit area for the Trinidad Basin Ttine and
your property is included in that area.
The Division cannot grant a permit to Trinidad Basin ?fining without a demon-
stration by the company that they have secured the legal right to enter the
property and conduct surface coal mining and reclamation operations (Rule
2.07. 6(2)(f)).
If you wish, you have the right to request an informal public hearing to
discuss this matter with representatives of the Division and the mining
operation. To do so you must request the conference in writing and
specifically state the issue(s) to be raised and discussed, and whether you
would like the conference to be held in the vicinity of the mine site. Any
such request should be addressed to my attention at the Division offices.
The conference would be held within 60 days of the last publication notice.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
,~1~ SS.-f--
Plicl~ael S.
