This action was taken after your
specialists expressed considerable concern regarding several questions,
including that of the determination of alluvial valley floors, that they .
had after reviewing our permit application.
Mr. Kimball has raised two questions which are covered in the attach-
ment. He believes that prior to undertaking a detailed alluvial valley
study that we should obtain a policy determination from you regarding
these two questions. I believe that his point is caell taken. We will be
proceeding with our hydrologic investigations as we await your comment on
these two questions.
If you need additional information please feel free to give me a call.
Sincerely yours,
~ ~~
James K.
