sss
APR 1619$
April 16, 1985
~ ~ .. ; ,~ ..~r; ~;aAtip;;?1 ~JiUiSlOil
To the Board:
American Carbo-Minerals would like to request a time
at the next regular m@eting of the M.L.R.B. to review a plan of
action for permit C-048-81.
The permit is in suspension and Trinidad Basin Mining,
the Operater, is doing the work necessary to abate the causes for
the suspension. American Carbo-Minerals wants to explore the
possibility of succeeding to a portion of the permit, after re-
instatement, and submitting a revision to the permit that would
improve the pit sequence plan and divide the permit area.
That portion already mined would remain a bonded
respnsibility of T.B.M. and the part yet to be mimed would become
a bonded responsibility of American Carbo-Minerals.
If we can got on the agenda for the meating of April
24 and 25, it would be appreciated. Jim Kelley at 1-800-331-5517
or Jim Asher at 688-2272 can be notified.
Sincerely,
/Q~y~y/ ,oi~CU.~
~/`
,74m Asher for
American Carbo-Minerals
