Of the material received at present,
there are three areas which require additional clarification; 1) alluvial
valley floors; 2) vegetation; and 3) the capacity of the pipe arches on
Coal Creek. Dan Mathews is currently reviewing the vegetation responses
so his comments will be forwarded to you shortly.
The alluvial valley floor reconnaissance level investigation was deficient
in several areas: 1) A map of unconsolidated streamlaid deposits of the
area in plate 1 of the Hydro-Search report must be included. On this map,
indicate all areas of unconsolidated streamlaid deposits cahich are
presently flood irrigated and those areas which are potentially flood
irrigable. if there are areas which are not flood irrigable, discuss
why they are not flood irrigable. LJater rights should not be considered.
in this determination. Furthermore, a discussion should be made of the
source of water for the flood irrigated areas.
