Computer requirercente to use the DBMS document imagir[g CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and moat be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD the fast time. Future use of this m other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase »»~ be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with tbe .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your corr[puter that will handle single and multi-Page documents. Om a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picuue and Fax VieweP' or `Taint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DBMS has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from LrfanView.conl, does work with QttickView. ARer downloading "LrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .trf viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as .`Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Inatructlona• 1. Llsert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. /3. Eject the CD fi»m the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD imW the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autontm, which runs the QuickView setup program, has aL9o been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView progtam Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.nlinina.state.co.us. The Permit Pile document images can be viewed fn the receptlom area of the DBMS oDice or they can be parchsaed on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD parchaee cost rnvero the tlme and labor of making the CD.
