<br />SECTIO$ 20. "Twenty-second.-That any person or persons operating any metalliferous mine or m'
<br />and employing flue or more men, shall report the same to the Bureau of IIfinea and state when work is com-
<br />menced sad when stopped, and mines worbing continaoasly shall~reporE on of before December 1 of each
<br />year, together with the names of the owners and managers or lessee sn charge of said work, toget~ser with
<br />the ~osEoffioe address, the name of the claim or claims to be operated, the name of the county and mining
<br />distnet, together with the number of men employed, directly or indirectly, the same being classified into
<br />miners, trammers, timbermen ore assorEers, mill men, teamsters, etc. The necessary blanks to carry out
<br />the provisions of this section e~all be furnished upon application by the Commissioner of Mines.
<br />Twenty-seventh.-Any person, owner, agent, manager or lessee operating n metalliferous mine or mill
<br />in this state, who fails to comply with the provisions herein set forth, shall be deemed gmlty of a misde-
<br />.meaaor against this act, and, when not otherwise provided, shall be liablo to the penalty proscribed in
<br />section 13 of this act, or to a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars (~a.00), nor more than three hundred
<br />dollars ($300.00), for each sad every provision noE complied with, or both, at the discretion of the court.
