It appears that this pit was one transferred from Carder to Bent County
several years ago. It would further appear to me that the amendment to which
you refer was probably submitted to the Division by Carder, the former operator.
It would be sincerely appreciated that we be furnished a copy of what you note
as the amended permit boundary as everything in our file in inconclusive.
iK s ~
3 -d-~
Earl-Hoffman-Reyher: (1991-086) Although we are in the process of
attempting to address the infestation of tamarisk we do have a problern trying to
respond to your questions on the "long narrow permit area with a very irregular
boundary that does not match the permit Mine Plan Map". This pit was also one
(J y'which was transferred from a previous operator to Bent County. If it ever existed
in our file I am unable to locate the permit Mine Plan Map. It would be
appreciated that you also furnish to us what is in the Division's file.
Hopefully -once we receive the maps -we'll be able to address these boundary
questions. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Yours truly,
BENT COUNTY AD ISTRATOR'S OFFICE
Frank Bryant
