I arrived at the project site at 11:00 A. M. as requested by Mr. Henry Barbe.
I performed gob pile density tests as requested by Mr. Barbe of material being
placed on the lower refuse pile using nuclear soil density test methods.
Please refer to the test results sheets for approximate test locations and test
results. The test locations were determined by west Elk Mine. The test results
- indicate only the relative compaction and soil moisture content of the material
tested at the elevation and location tested at the time of our site visit.
A Proctor sample was also obtained from the lower refuse pile and returned to
the laboratory for further testing.
