See Annual Reports for the yeazs 2002, 2001 and 2000.
The proposed island, located in the northeast of the permitted azea, is approximately 2000
feet from the present pond. The lake will probably never be extended to this location
because of the augmentation requirements now in place on this part of the Colorado
River.
There is still approximately 60 permitted acres of the site that can be mined. At the
present time, I believe the only reclamation to be completed is the stockpile azea. This
includes removal of several stockpiles and seeding of approximately 20 acres. Present
plan are to put a portion of the stockpile site into irrigated pasture or hay next summer.
The remaining portion of the stockpile site will be le8 for future mining and processing
for an upcoming overlay project on I-70.
If you have any questions of need any additional information regazding these items,
please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
~/;~
Edward J.
