(~-
I also appreciate the information about how the channel is flowing on the land upstream and
adjacent to your site. I hope the conditions remain stable long enough this season for you to
perform the additional work to your portion of the channel and the sediment pond.
Concerning your request for another inspection, for purposes of checking the amount of
reclamation, presumably toward a reduction of the bond amount, please refer to Construction
Materials Rule 4.17. This rule explains the procedure for formally requesting release or
reduction, such as the information to be provided and the mailing requirements. Please also
review your approved reclamation plan to ensure that your activities conform to the plan.
If I see that I will be in the area, I can contact you. If you have any questions about submitting a
release request, you can reach me at the Division's Durango field office: 701 Camino del Rio,
Room 125, Durango, CO 81301; telephone 970-247-5193.
Sincerely,

Bob Oswald
Environmental Protection Specialist
Cc: Tony Waldron, DRMS
(c:\07-07 docs/bridalvei] req fwr/rco)
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines
