A storage shed had been set within or neaz the permit boundary on the North Haul Road (see the picture
in the inspection report). [f this structure is in support of the permit reclamation effort, and it is within the
permit boundary, it needs to be included in the list of facilities and the cost of its removal included in the
reclamation estimate. If this structure is in support of the permit reclamation effort, and it outside the
permit boundary, it presents a possible violation (in such case, the boundary needs to be revised, and the
structure needs to be included in the list of facilities, and the cost of its removal included in the
reclamation estimate). If it is a private structure on private land, within the permit area, not in support of
the reclamation effort, it should be so indicated in permit documentation. If it is a private structure, on
private land, not within the boundary of the permit, not in support of the reclamation effort, but within
1,000 feet of the permit boundary, it needs to be included on the azea map and its use identified [see Rule
2.10.3(1)(d)]. Please let me know of the status of this storage shed.
A number of documents were not located on file at the Routt County Court House (see the DMG
Available Records check sheet of the inspection).
The file of revision approvals (at the Court House) might be transferred to a binder, to be placed along
with the other binders of the Permit Application Package. This would free up space in the box where the
records listed on the DMG Available Records check sheet are kept.
