<br />on March 28,'2006;; I)wing the inspection; several sites were observed including the Wellington Downs
<br />Pit (M=1995-035),;the Weitzel-Pit (M=1986-050),'and the Stute Pit (M-1981-002): One aspect of the
<br />inspection report required that Lafarge ;West, Inc. (Lafarge) pre8ent surface water discharges from the
<br />Weitzel Pit groundwater lakes onto the Wellington Downs site or.revise the reclamation plan to allow the
<br />discharges. Clti;ently,~surface water isnot discharging from the Weitzel Pit site: ; '

<br />Previousletters have requested:;additional time 4o respond to the inspectioirrepo;t., ,Evaluations for the
<br />.site conditions and`potential corrective actions for the properties have been completed.. We aze in the
<br />process of scheduling discus"signs between Lafarge and Connell'Resources_to'discuss potential actions
<br />and respond to the inspection report:

<br />Therefore, we are requesting~additional time to submit revisions to the permits involved. We request a
<br />decisiou~ date extension.until.September-15, 2006. We ask 1haY this: extension, apply, to the inspection
<br />reports prepared for both the. Wellington Downs Pit and Weitzel Pit.
