Enforcement <br />action forthcoming. <br />1) No record of bond being received or permit being issued. No annual reports on file. <br />2) Topsoilfoverburden is being stripped. Largest stockpile is on east side of access <br />road. Numerous smaller piles are located on the site. <br />3) Mining is by front-end loader. Excavation has occurred to just north of Sand Creek <br />and approximately to the northern extension of the eastern boundary of the washing plant <br />area. <br />4) Excavation is not by phases and is above the water table. Use of dredge cvi1Z allow for <br />phase mining below the water table and for concurrent reclamation. <br />RECOh~ IEAIIlATI0N5 <br />1) Operator must contact the Division (Joe Zalkind or myself) regarding the submission of <br />the bond for this operation by June 4, 2982. Bond must be submitted by June 22, 2982 to <br />avoid enforcement action under Section 34-32-123 (attached). If no bond is received, this <br />matter will be scheduled for the June 23, 1982 Mined Land Reclamation Board meeting. <br />2J Finished slopes should be a maximum of 3:1 to allow for revegetation. <br />3) All~of the stockpiled topsoil/overburden will be needed for reclamation. <br />9) Topsoil stockpiles should be stabilized by planting a vegetative cover. <br />5) Submit required annual report and fees. <br />6) Bonrl for this operation is $40,000,00.
