Cattany <br />Acting Division Director <br />Any person with an interest who may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may <br />submit written comments within 30 days of the first publication of the public notice by <br />the Division in the Canon City Daily Record. <br />The GEC Mine is a reclaimed surface coal mine located in Fremont County <br />approximately eight miles southeast of Florence, Colozado. The legal description of the <br />mine is portions of Sections 19 and 30, Township 20 South, Range 69 West and portions of <br />Sections 24 and 25, Township 20 South, Range 70 West on the 6a' Principle Meridian, <br />Fremont County, Colorado. The coal interest is private and the surface affected is private <br />land. The pem3it azea encompasses approximately 720 acres, 183.9 of which were <br />permitted to be disturbed. <br />A copy of the Proposed Decision is enclosed.
