Box 926 719-53&3531 tax
Salida, CO 81201 800.254-1306 orders
July 16, 1998
Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology
Attention: Tony Waldron
1313 Sherman, Rm 215
Denver, CO 80203
RECEIVED
JUL 2 ~ 19~
DIV. OF MINERALS
8 GEOLOGY
Dear Tony,
Enclosed please find photos of the required MLRB permit sign. I wonder it will take before this one is
tom down?
As faz as usage of the Wellsville Plant, we have made several products there and have enclosed labels
for your review. We have not enclosed labels for the marble that was processed there, but we processed
several thousands of tons of white marble for both Butala Construction and Colorado Quarries. We still
have some ground and bagged product on hand. Other products we have manufactured there include a
potting mix, a cleaning concentrate, and a fermentation product. The mixing and bagging equipment for
the potting mix is still at Wellsville, as aze the fermentation equipment and the liquid blending
equipment for the detergents.
The Bon Vita was gypsum that came from the Badger Creek area which we ground and bagged for that
company. The Wonder Life product was ground and bagged gypsum that came from Coaldale.
The custom products. of course, did not come from the Maverick Placer Mine.
We aze currently talking to Sims Ag. of Ohio to granulate a product formulated by them.
Tony, as you can see, the Wellsville Plant has been very versatile and not tied to the Maverick Placer
ore. If you have any questions please call me at our office or home (719)539300.
regards to you and your family,
Lionelle
