Please note that these aze "draft" maps. I will be sending you final versions
of the maps, accompanied by a progress report for each Permit, in the next several days.
These drafr maps are intended to help you locate the new signs on your inspection follow
up visit the week of November 26.
I have enclosed a portion of the 1" = 1000' base map for the area. This map shows the
general locations where the signs were placed on November 12, 2001.
The Van 4 map shows the location of the sign at the entrance [o the site off Road DD19.
The Monogram site map shows the location of the sign off Road DD15. The sign is at
the turn off into the area of several mine sites. The sign is cleazly visible off Road DD15.
The Monogram - Jo Dandy map shows the location of the sign at the mine site. This site
is not visible from the main road, which is Road DD19. Road DD19 intersects Highway
90 out in the Paradox Valley. Road DD19 is one of the main roads up into the
Monogram Mesa area. You should be
able to see our vehicle tracks on the trail we took into the Blackburn site. We initially
tried the "low road" that starts further down Road DD 19, but it was not passable to the
