Long <br />Division Director <br />During the pre-operational inspection of the amended azea for permit ntunber M-87-13 ], a <br />cursory evaluation of the permit affected area indicated that you might have exceeded the <br />allowable disturbance for the phased operation. The approved permit allows the operator to <br />disturb no more than 45 acres at any given time. During the discussions we had after the <br />inspection you agreed to submit a request for an expanded permit affected azea of 150 acres and <br />submit the appropriate financial warranty. The mining plan submitted in the original permit will <br />stil] be applicable.
