This is a monitoring inspection of art ongoing operation. 2. Annual reports and fees are not up to date. This makes it difficult to judge whether or not the mining and reclamation is proceeding as permitted. 3. Active mining and stockpiling of product is occurring. 4. TF.e evidence cf gullying in areas not_ recently disturbed on both gentle and steep slopes indicates that *_his material is very susceptible to water erosion. 5. Recia:naticn in the pit area has not yet occurred. Topsoil may have been stockpiled to the north and cast of the pit area, but its rocky nature makes it difficult to know if this is topsoil. Scme erosion of this material is occurring by the haul road, and grass co:•er is somewhat sparse.
