Re: Henderson -Groundwater Investigation
This letter is in response to your question of compliance with all permitting requirements
of the State Engineer for the gravel pit operations listed in your letter of March 15, 2001.
The following is a list showing the current status of each of these operations and the
outstanding requirements needed for compliance with our office:
1. M-77-153: SSP pending, SSP request received 7/16/90, final request for
information sent on 10/29!93 by certified mail, operator's letter
of 12/1/93 was non-responsive.
Well permit application received on 7(16190 (receipt no. 315574-
C), awaiting SSP approval, sent back on 8/29/90.
Needs an SSP and well permit (operator non-responsive}.
2. M-86-079: SSP approved on 8/15/00.
Well permit application received on 9/5/00 (receipt no. 466025),
on hold until 600 ft spacing hearing is held.
Needs a well permit (waiting for 600 ft spacing hearing).
3. NI-83-176: SSP pending, SSP request received on 2125/00, sent to RMC for
_ review on 3/14/00, operator is slowly submitting information to
RMC for their review.
Needs an SSP and well permit (waiting on consultant action).
4. M-80-221: SSP pending, SSP request received on 2!19(99 (no copy in file),
sent to RMC for review on 2/19/99, operator is slowly
submitting information to RMC for their review.
Needs an SSP and well permit (waiting on consultant action).
5. M-78-052: SSP expired on 1/31/00, new SSP approved on 3/16/00.
Well permit issued on 4/23/99 as permit 49734-F, valid permit with
an approved SSP.
