Cottony
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
Per our telephone conversation earlier today, the Division acknowledges that any references to
previous superfund remediation noted in the Division's September 30, 2004 inspection report are
inaccurate. As you have stated, the remedial activities you had completed in 1993 pertain only to
the Black Eagle Mill. The Mendota Properties have never been listed or associated with any
designated superfund site. We trust this clarifies any error made in the Division's September 30,
2004 report. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
Sincerely,
Thomas A.
