(Lafarge) <br />is requesting a Technical Revision (TR) to our permit for the State Pit located near Pueblo, <br />Colorado in Pueblo County. The TR is in response to the Division's request for a weed control <br />plan for tamarisk including control methods to be implemented and a schedule for when the <br />,,.,. <br />various control methods will be employed. „ ' ,. <br />'• ~;~ <br />Lafarge is proposing use of the herbicides Arsenal and Habitat to control the tamarisk. Habitat <br />will be used in areas where spray could come in contact with water. The spraying will occur <br />before the end of September, as the herbicides are foliar applications and only effective while the <br />plant has green leaves. Future applications, if necessary, will occur during the late summer <br />and/or eazly fall.
