Lonti <br />Division Director <br />RE: Sunlight Mine (C-81-046) <br />Paul, I finally remembered to send the information you requested on <br />the Sunlight Mine. Attached are the bid specifications for the <br />intake portal seal, various drawings, and a memo from myself <br />describing the current situation. <br />I recently spoke with Harry Ranney who inspected the intake portal <br />seal during installation. Harry stated that the concrete block <br />wall was installed according to design. The steel stop block was <br />welded to the railroad I-beam backstop per design. There are no <br />job log reports nor inspection reports to verify Harry's statement. <br />Talk to Harry Ranney or Tom Gillis for more information. <br />Please keep me posted on the AML work. I would like to be around <br />when you re-seal the portal. Let me know if you need any <br />additional information.
