DsCf. Of I~Atp~ a~ R~Oyrceg
The following information is offered in response to your October 17,
1985 Inspection Report reconmendations for the Bulldog Mountain Mine:
1. Barrels and trash are not being deposited in Windy Gulch. In the
past, an occasional empty drum may have inadvertently been placed at the toe
of the waste rock dump. An effort will be made to remove any of these drums
of recent origin. Removal may have to be deferred until the snow cover is
gone next spring.
2. The upper culvert inlet has been cleaned of debris. A trash rack
will be installed at the culvert inlet when weather conditions permit, but
certainly in advance of spring runoff.
3. Barrel storage has been consolidated on-site to the extent
practical. It should be noted that most of the barrels observed during the
inspection were completely empty.
4. The grade along the upper tailings pond diversion has been checked,
and proper down gradient drainage confirmed.
5. The tailings flume is inspected on a regular basis, and repaired as
necessary.
If you have any additional questions or require further assistance,
please contact me.
Sincerely,
(a9 . ~cu...~
Jerry W.
