'. .. <br />RE: Response to Inspection Report Corrective Actions, Connell Resources, Inc. <br />Glass Gravel Pit, M-1981-022 ;/~ _ _ _ _^ <br />Dear Ms. Crosby: <br />On behalf of our client Connell Resources, Inc., please accept the following information in response <br />to your Glass Gravel Pit (M-1981-022) inspection report dated January 29, 2004 and the follow up <br />letter dated March 25, 2004. The follow up letter requested that a tec ca revlston for the Glass Pit <br />be submitted before May 31, 2004.' The technical revision was to include reducing the size of the <br />final lake by up to two-thirds of its original size. <br />It is anticipated that the Glass Pit will eventually be completely backfilled and/or lined to remove the <br />groundwater lake from the reclamation plan Therefore, instead of submitting the technical revision <br />as requested, we would like to obtain a reclamation permit amendment to change the final land use of <br />the site. We sent a letter dated May 16, 2004 requesting additional time to prepare the amendment <br />application materials, but have not yet submitted the amendment application. At this time we believe <br />that we can have the application materials prepared and submitted to the Division by <br />January 7, 2005.
