I. General Comments
This was a complete inspection of all surface facilities associated with the
underground mine. The operation remains inactive at this time. The operator
could not be located at the time of the inspection, therefore the availability
of records was not checked during this inspection. The records will be
checked during the March, 1985 inspection.
The Delta loadout was inspected by Michael Long on February 5, 1985 and no
problems were noted. Notice of Violation C-85-O10 was written for failure of
the operator to complete sediment pond upgrading within the time frame
stipulated in the May, 1984 Findings Document and subsequently extended by the
Division on October 22, 1984 in response to a request by the operator to
extend the deadline from October 19, 1984 tD November 9, 1984.
