Czapla <br /> <br />RE: Van 4 Shaft - File No. M-1997-032, Pinon Ridge Mining LLC <br /> Surety Reduction Request (SR-2) <br /> Van 4 Mine Surety Reduction <br /> <br />Please be advised that on January 13, 2026, Pinon Ridge Mining LLC, whose address and telephone number <br />are P O Box 825 31161 Highway 90, Nucla, CO 81424; (970) 864-2125, filed an application for a/an <br />Surety Reduction Request (SR- 2) to M1997032, Van 4 Shaft, which is located approximately 10 miles <br />West of Naturita, Section 29, Township 46N, Range 17W, 10th Principle Meridian, in Montrose County. <br /> <br />Pinon Ridge Mining is requesting a reduction of the financial warranty requirement based on current site <br />conditions and considering reclamation activities completed thus far. <br /> <br />Written comments or objections to the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained <br />from Dustin M. Czapla at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (970) 433-8393. <br /> <br />Pinon Ridge Mining LLC is required to publish a public notice once in a newspaper of general circulation in <br />the locality of the mining operation. If you wish to make comments on or objections to the proposed release, <br />they must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the newspaper public notice to be considered in the review <br />process by the Division. You should contact the operator for the newspaper publication date. If we do not <br />receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume <br />you have no objection or comment to the proposed release. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
