All review and comment periods as <br />provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate from this date of <br />filing. <br /> <br />ARC McClane Canyon, LLC proposes to continue underground coal mining and/or reclamation <br />operations on land located approximately 19 miles North of Loma, Colorado. This renewal <br />application does not propose revisions to the approved mining and reclamation plan, nor is there any <br />proposed surface disturbance outside of the currently approved disturbance area. <br /> <br />The permit area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />Portions of Sections 3, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, and 34, T7S, R102W, 6th PM, all in Garfield <br />County <br /> <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map(s): Howard Canyon. <br /> <br />ARC McCalne Canyon, LLC has submitted an application for renewal of a valid existing permit to <br />conduct coal mining and reclamation for its McClane Canyon Mine, Permit No. C-1980-004. <br />McClane Canyon Mine is an underground mine on land located approximately 19 miles north of <br />Loma, Colorado along State Highway 139.
