<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />September 30, 2025 <br /> <br /> <br />Peter Freedman <br />AuPt Industries LLC <br />PO Box 1424 <br />Edwards, CO 81632 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: West Side Placer - File No. M-2016-081 <br /> AuPt Industries LLC <br /> Permit Conversion (CN-2) <br /> Conversion to a 112 operation <br /> <br />Dear Peter Freedman: <br /> <br />On September 30, 2025 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety concluded its review of the <br />Permit Conversion application submitted to the Division on November 27, 2024, addressing the <br />following: <br /> <br />Addition of 70 acres and a conversion from a 110(2) to 112 operation. <br /> <br />The decision reached by the Division is: awaiting warranty. <br /> <br />The terms of Permit Conversion No. 2 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit <br />No. M-2016-081. All other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-2016-081 remain in full <br />force and effect. <br /> <br />The revised liability amount exceeds the financial warranty currently held (see below), please submit <br />additional bond or a rider to your existing bond that equals or exceeds the Revised Liability. The <br />revision will not be final until the bond is approved by the Division. <br /> <br />Please be advised that you are still required to submit an annual report, map and fee on the <br />anniversary date of your permit each year. However, after this revision is finalized you will now be <br />required to pay $633.00 on May 1, 2026 and thereafter in accordance with C.R.S. 34-32.5-125 or <br />C.R.S. 34-32-127 as applicable. <br /> <br /> <br />Bond Held: $48,833.00 <br />Prior Liability: $48,833.00 <br />Change in Liability: $121,735.00
