PHASE I MINING IS COMPLETE. THE PHASE I MINING AREA IS TO BE RECLAIMED WITH <br />A COMBINATION OF BELOW -GRADE LINED RESERVOIR, RECHARGE PONDS, AND <br />COMPACTED BACKFILL. THE RESERVOIR LINER CONSTRUCTION HAS BEEN <br />COMPLETED ON THE WEST AND SOUTH SIDES OF THE MINING AREA. <br />3. PHASE 2 MINING IS COMPLETE. THE PHASE 2 MINING AREA HAS BEEN BACKFILLED, <br />COMPACTED, GRADED, AND SEEDED FOR REVEGETATION. SEEDING WAS <br />ACCOMPLISHED WITH THE PREVIOUSLY APPROVED RECLAMATION SEED MIX. THE <br />WEITZEL ROAD EXTENSION HAS BEEN CONSTRUCTED AND THE ROAD AND <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY HAVE BEEN RELEASED FROM THE PERMIT AREA. THE RELOCATED <br />BOX ELDER DITCH HAS ALSO BEEN CONSTRUCTED IN THE PHASE 2 MINING AREA. <br />4. RECLAMATION WILL GENERALLY INCLUDE BACKFILLING, COMPACTING, GRADING, <br />AND STABILIZATION OF AREAS PLANNED FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT FOLLOWING <br />RELEASE FROM THE MLRB RECLAMATION PERMIT. MANY OF THE MINING AREAS <br />HAVE BEEN, OR WILL BE, BACKFILLED TO ACCOMMODATE FUTURE <br />INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL OR RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT BY PLACING <br />STRUCTURAL OR OTHER APPROPRIATE FILL MATERIAL, COMPACTING FOR FUTURE <br />STABILITY, AND GRADING FOR DEVELOPMENT NEEDS SUCH AS STORMWATER SEWER <br />DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION. <br />5.
