<br /> <br />Public Notice <br /> <br /> <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado <br />Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on July 25, 2025, a minor revision application (MR-266) to the <br />Colowyo Coal Mine, Permit No. C-1981-019, operated by Colowyo Coal Company L.P., P.O. Box <br />33695, Denver, CO 80233-0695 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. MR-266 proposes to <br />remove the Collom Dewatering Plan, discontinue monitoring of the Trout Creek Well, and requests <br />Stipulations 19 and 20 be removed from Colowyo’s Permit. The applicant is not proposing additional <br />surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for disturbance. All reviews and comment <br />periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing. <br />The revision application, as well as all other permit documents, can be viewed at <br />https://dnrweblink.state.co.us/drms/search.aspx by searching C1981019 in the “Permit No” field.
