Surety Reduction Request
(SR-1). Surety Reduction.
COMMENTS:
As the landowner I have great concerns regarding a Surety Reduction due to the variety of materials
including a large amount of organic debris that has been put into the pit and used for sloping. I
expressed concern to CW Construction when I first noticed the trash, trees, brush, branches and other
organic materials being used on the slopes. I was told by them that the trees will help to hold the banks
and will prevent them from Bluffing off. I pointed out that the trees, brush, branches, etc. are organic
and will disintegrate over time and the slopes will fail. The response I got was "not in our lifetime". I
asked that they discontinue depositing organics on the slopes and agreed that they could put them in
the bottom of the pit and crush them. Regardless of my request, I still observed those materials being
used on the slopes, as did my neighbors. I respectfully request that you do not grand a reduction of the
Surety Bond. If anything, it should be increased.
I have enclosed/attached pictures of material used on the slopes. Please contact me with any questions
or for discussion.
Thank you,
Dennis Krueger
JAK Ventures LLC—Manager/property owner
