Victory Way, Ste 104 <br />Craig, CO 81625 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: Trapper Mine (Permit No. C-1981-010) <br /> Permit Revision Application No. 12 (PR-12) <br /> PR-12, L-Pit Additional Cut and AOC Change <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Moffat County Commissioners: <br /> <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, <br />Article 33, Section 118, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on October 16, 2024, a <br />permit revision application for a permit to conduct coal mining operations, Permit No. C-1981-010 <br />by Trapper Mining, Inc., was considered complete for the purposes of filing. All review and <br />comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules <br />and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining initiate from this <br />date of filing. <br /> <br />Additional dipline cut in L-Pit, PMT/AOC revision for extra cut, Arch site seismic monitor <br />discontinuation, As-built pond information for East and West Buzzard sediment ponds, <br />Miscellaneous text update and reclamation plan modification The applicant is not proposing <br />additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for disturbance. <br /> <br />The surface coal mining operation is located approximately 6 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. <br />The permit area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />Township 5 North, Range 90 West <br /> Section 5 All <br /> Portions of Sections 6, 8 and 9 <br /> Township 5 North, Range 91 West <br /> Portions of Sections 1, 4, and 5 <br /> Sections 2 and 3, ALL <br /> Township 6 North, Range 90 West <br /> Portions of Sections 30 and 32 <br /> Section 31, ALL <br /> Township 6 North, Range 91 West
