<br /> <br />Public Notice <br /> <br /> <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado <br />Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on August 2, 2024, a minor revision application (MR-65) to the <br />McClane Canyon Mine, Permit No. C-1980-004, operated by ARC McClane Canyon, LLC, 269 West <br />Main Street, Suite 200, Lexington, KY 40507 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. With <br />this application, ARC McClane proposes to begin piling coal waste and pond sediments in an area <br />currently designated as a “construction materials stockpile”. This will allow ARC McClane to maintain <br />the sediment pond as an efficient means of trapping sediment. The applicant is not proposing additional <br />surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for disturbance.
