Everist, Incorporated (L.G. Everist or LGE), as Permittee/Operator respectfully submits this Acreage Release
Request for release of 8.8 acres from the DRMS Permit# M-1999-120, Fort Lupton Sand & Gravel Mine. Please
note-we are not requesting any surety (financial) release.
The 8.8 acres of land for which we are requesting release was owned by L.G. Everist when it was included in the
mine permit. We have since sold it to Freddy and Lisa Dodge. The 8.8 acres is within the overall Fort Lupton
Sand & Gravel Mine permit area, but not within the mineable acres of the permit, and it has not been disturbed by
the mining operation. This land was always expected to remain as is—a private property with an agricultural
residence, outbuildings, and driveways/accesses. Because the land has not been disturbed by mining, and
because the property use has been maintained, there is no reclamation needed.
We have notified the landowners, Mr. and Mrs. Dodge, of our Acreage Release Request and they have
acknowledged that they would like this land removed from the DRMS permit. We are including the Notice and
Acknowledgement Letter which Mr. and Mrs. Dodge have signed with this submittal.
After reviewing this request and attachments, if you have any questions or need anything else to process this
Acreage Release Request, please contact me at 303-514-2778 or Imshults@Igeverist.com.
Sincerely,
. t
Lynn Mayer ults
Regulatory Manager
cc: Matthew S.
