All review and comment periods as <br />provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate from this date of <br />filin g. <br /> <br />Moffat County Mining, LLC proposes to continue underground coal mining and/or reclamation <br />operations on land located approximately 7 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br /> <br />All or portions of Sections 4, 5, 6 and 8, T5N, R91W; part of Section 1, T5N, R92W; Sections 16, <br />17, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 33, T6N, R91W; portions of Sections 25, 26, 35 and 36, T6N, <br />R92W; 6th Prime Meridian. <br /> <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map(s): Round Bottom, Castor Gulch. <br /> <br />Permit Renewal No. 8 constitutes a renewal of the existing permit. <br /> <br />This renewal application does not propose revisions to the approved mining and reclamation plan, <br />nor is there any proposed surface disturbance outside of the currently approved disturbance area. <br /> <br />A copy of the renewal application is available for public inspection at the Moffat County Clerk and <br />Recorder, 221 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625 .
