The 110c permit was issued to
William Boone in 1991 for a permit area of 9.9 acres. In 2013, the Mined Land Reclamation Board issued a
violation to William Boone for mining outside the approved permit boundary (8.2 acres) and required the operator
to post a bond in the amount of $27,820.00. The Operator failed to correct the violations. As a result, the permit
was revoked and the bond money in the amount of $1,500.00 was forfeited.
BIDDING/CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION
Type of Bid Documented Quote - • ser
(circle one) Invitation for Bid_ Direct Bill
PO Number: Contractor Name & Address: Construction Bond Amount (after 5%
Dates: administrative fee removed):
RMC Consultants, Inc. $1,425.00
122295 W48th Avenue Start: 11/25/2015
Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 •
Seed $465.00
• Labor $960.00
End: 11/25/2015 Project Cost: $1,425.00
Construction Work Description
The permit required the mined slopes be reclaimed to 3H:1V using existing waste rock piles and topsoil. Because
of the insufficient amount of bond to reclaim the site, the only feasible option was to reseed the 18.1-acre disturbed
area. A reclamation seed mixture, containing grass, forb and shrub species common to the area, was purchased
from Arkansas Valley Seed Company. RMC hand broadcast the mixture over all disturbed areas including waste
piles and flattened slopes. The upper north quarry (2.8 acres) was not seeded due to active backfilling taking
place.
Remaining Reclamation Requirements and Estimated Cost: Remaining reclamation work includes grading
down the waste rock piles, removal of debris and trash and control of noxious weeds at the site.
hakYD
Project Manager Senior , 6' t M.Hager
I2,1 Iz 4WI s 45A5
Date 1 Date
1
