We are also requesting release of the portion of our financial
warranty that pertains to mining disturbance on the Sharps Lode.
Our 110 permit area lies within the Buffalo Hunter Lode and the Sharps Lode claims. The 3.16 acres that
are on the Sharps Lode claim is the portion of the 110 permit that we wish to be released. It has been
disturbed by our mining activity, and we are not reclaiming it; it will be used by Colorado Quarries, and
all existing disturbance will become the liability of Colorado Quarries for bonding and for reclamation.
We understand that the DRMS can issue its full approval of our release request now that the 112c
conversion of the Black Obsidian permit is approved.
Bill Tezak of Colorado Quarries is the owner of the land and minerals of the Sharps Lode. His address
and phone are: 315 S. 11th St., Canon City,81212, 719-588-7916.
Please see the attached map showing the Lucky VI Quarry permitted area, and the portion of it that
overlaps the proposed expansion of the Black Obsidian Pit.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Ed Lyons
Operator, Lucky VI Quarry
Encl: Map of release request
